Simply put, the Hotel Giraffe is an urban oasis in the concrete jungle that is New York City. This modern hotel has been a part of the Manhattan landscape since the 1920s. Nestled on the corner of 26th Street and Park Avenue, Hotel Giraffe is the perfect hotel if you are looking for a quiet stay in one of Manhattan’s busiest neighborhoods.

When you’ve checked into your room, make yourself at home. Rooms are spacious with a cozy environment. Fluffy down pillows and cloudlike beds are some of the qualities that will make your stay unforgettable. During your stay guests are able to enjoy multiple services, such as a daily wine-and-cheese happy hour from 5-8pm, complete with live piano music on weeknights. Before you rush out to enjoy the city, fuel up with the continental breakfast (don’t worry if you need a late night caffeine jolt; fresh brewed coffee, espresso and cappuccinos are waiting for you).

If you are looking for a quiet night in with a simple dinner, attached to the hotel is the Italian restaurant Bread & Tulips. While the setting is perfect for quiet night alone or that romantic dinner with someone special, the food and service is pretty bland. The food will definitely fill you up, but it doesn’t leave you wanting more. The same can be said for the cocktail and dessert menu; some of the options will intrigue you, but none will leave a lasting impression or an added bonus to your stay.

When coming to NYC (or planning a much needed staycation), make sure to book an experience at Hotel Giraffe. Just like its namesake, the Hotel Giraffe embodies gracefulness and beauty that contribute to a guaranteed relaxing stay.

TIME OUT TIP: While Hotel Giraffe does offer a great wine night, sometimes it’s nice to get out of the hotel and walk around the city at night. If wine night is something that you are in the mood for, take a 10-minute walk to The Cellar. This cozy, underground bar has a great wine selection and is perfect to take that special someone for a romantic evening.
