Prog-metal supergroup Adrenaline Mob, which features Symphony X frontman Russell Allen and ex–Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, dispensed with the arty trappings of its seed projects on its 2012 debut, Omerta, focusing on post-Pantera crunch with a hint of brooding grunge. Tonight's gig follows a recent covers EP titled—yes, folks—Coverta.
