Apex Fest VI

Trans-Pecos hosts three nights' worth of noise, avant-garde metal and other harsh and harrowing styles. We're looking forward to catching Gnaw Their Tongues, a Dutch act devoted to nightmarish soundscapes (June 6); Montreal's Menace Ruine, which offers an entrancing hybrid of buzzy drone and gothic-style folk (June 6); and Providence art-doom luminaries the Body (June 7), performing with special guest collaborators TBA.
