Black Breath + KEN Mode + Clean Teeth

Winnipeg, Canada, outfit KEN Mode excels at noise rock in the proud AmRep–Hydra Head tradition (translation: lumbering rhythms plus needling guitars and dire shouts). The band's latest, Venerable (Profound Lore), doesn't tell us much we don't already know about said subgenre, but it's a pretty exhilarating pummel session nonetheless.
