Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival: Salute the DJ

You've heard of the four pillars of hip-hop: The MCs, the B-boys and B-girls, the graffiti writers and the DJs. That last category has a few subcategories of its own—namely, the party DJ, the beat digger and the turntablist. All three are represented at this party—part of the sixth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop festival—with DJ Spinna, the multitalented Bobbito Garcia, Beat Junkie founding member DJ Rhettmatic, onetime X-ecutioner Rob Swift and Platinum Pied Pipers' Waajeed on the wheels of steel.
