Celebrating Milt Hinton

Milt Hinton, a late bass great whose career spanned the swing and bop eras (and beyond), receives a handsome tribute at East Side jazz haven Saint Peter's Church. Tonight's concert features a 20-odd-member bass ensemble led by Rufus Reid, as well as appearances by Jay Leonhart and the Purchase Jazz Orchestra.
