Chilly Gonzales—real name, Jason Beck—has worked with a range of fellow Canadian artists, including Peaches and Feist. He is an ambitious man: Tonight, he shows off songs from Ivory Tower, a convincing pop album tied to a movie he cowrote about chess (or something). It stars Gonzales alongside Peaches, Tiga and Feist. And while we have yet to see the film, the album is a scream: "I'm a toilet with no seat, flushing tradition down!" he claims in the spoken "I Am Europe."
