Chuck Mangione

Like so many of the smoothest jazz stars, fluegelhorn player Chuck Mangione had a history in bop that was pretty much forgotten once he scored the 1977 hit "Feels So Good." He hasn’t quite returned to his early jazz days, but if you listen closely, every now and then you can hear that he was once quite cuckoo for Dizzy Gillespie.
