Darkside + Valentin Stip

The music of Darkside—the duo of young local beatsmith Nicolas Jaar and multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington—could be described as the thinking man’s dance music. Too pompous? Let’s just say that last year’s debut LP, Psychic, was a mesmerizing effort, and that you'll likely find the live show to be every bit as lush and hypnotic. The band recently decided to hang up its spurs, for a while at least, so this gig will be its last.
