Dawn of Midi + Mary Halvorson Quintet

There's no question that jazz has become a global language, and Dawn of Midi offers the proof: This sensitive free-improv trio includes a percussionist from Pakistan (Qasim Naqvi), a bassist from India (Aakaash Israni) and a Moroccan pianist (Amino Belyamini). Tonight the trio shares the bill with a TONY favorite, guitar radical-traditionalist Mary Halvorson, who leads a gutsy quintet, along with special guests including Tim Berne.
