Deerhoof + Mick Barr + White Suns

Not only one of the best art-rock outfits currently going, but one of the best contemporary rock & roll bands period, beloved Bay Area quartet Deerhoof continues to purvey its sublime mixture of the anthemic and the angular. Tonight it plays in support of this year's Deerhoof vs. Evil, which finds the quartet juxtaposing folk and electropop forays with blasts of live-wire noise. Avant-metal guitar overlord Mick Barr and local noisecore trio White Suns lend support.
