Don Byron Ivey-Divey Trio

Clarinetist-saxist Don Byron named this band after a jivey phrase uttered by the original swing president Lester Young, and the music manages to be as elusive and slippery as the slang. Helping to flesh out the leader's subtle, expansive jazz vision are the estimable tandem of pianist Jason Moran and drummer Billy Hart.
