Furthur

Even down one drummer from the last time it appeared in town, Furthur, a Grateful Dead spin-off fronted by Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, might just be the very best pod off the old mothership: Keyboardist Jeff Chimenti is a well-seasoned hand by now, guitarist and singer John Kadlecik conveys the spirit of Jerry without slavish imitation, and Joe Russo does the work of two drummers.
