Genya Ravan fronted Goldie and the Gingerbreads, a pioneering all-female rock & roll band, in the early ’60s, transitioning to the horn-driven Ten Wheel Drive by the end of that decade. Tonight the Polish-born vet gigs in support of a gritty, soulful 2012 set, Cheesecake Girl, featuring songs inspired by her autobiography, Lollipop Lounge.
