Herculaneum + Soft Landing + Scandalabra

Led by drummer-composer Dylan Ryan, Chicago's Herculaneum combines two strains of its hometown's contemporary avant-garde: chamberish vibes-and-guitar driven post-rock in the vein of Tortoise, and funkier, livelier material reminiscent of the Vandermark 5's edgy contemporary jazz.
