Musicians of the InterHarmony International Music Festival, founded by cellist Misha Quint, perform the first of a three-concert Carnegie Hall series featuring contemporary and traditional classical works, including the New York premiere of Thomas Fortmann's Prolitheus Suite for Violin, Piano and Cello. Also on the program are Jennifer Higdon's Piano Trio, along with works by Dvorak and Rachmaninoff.
