Frontman Nick Thorburn's been busy the past two years, coming off a Unicorns reunion and returning to his Islands project to record two albums in one summer of offbeat yet anthemic pop. The first, Should I Remain Here, At Sea? continues the bubbly instrumental fare we're used to, while the other, Taste, veers into squishy synthesizer-based territory. The band heads to the 'Burg to debut both stylistic sides.
