Given that Jacques Labouchere is part of the Swedish "weird folk" scene, his obscuro-credentials are fully intact: The singer-songwriter was born near the Appalachian Mountains, then moved to Gothenburg, Sweden (via London), where he sang for bands with names like We Do Not Negotiate with Terrorists. His new album is called Bi-polar Baby Strollers, and it's a sweet, perky and (of course) quirky confection.
