Jake La Botz + Eszter Balint

Two actor-musicians take the Union Hall stage tonight: Chicago blues-smith Jake La Botz, and Eszter Balint, whom you might recognize from her brilliantly deadpan acting turn in Jim Jarmusch's Stranger than Paradise. Musically, she fuses the clear-eyed folk of Sandy Denny with the ’90s flair of artists such as Solex and Polly Jean Harvey.
