For her Carnegie debut, this fiery young pianist with a penchant for challenging new music breaks down the boundaries between classical subgenres, which she believes are arbitrary. In addition to premieres by Inhyun Kim, Ashley Fu-Tsun Wang and Marco Stroppa, she'll harken back to early 20th-century experimentalism with repertoire by Debussy, Ligeti, Messiaen and Kurtág; then she plants her foot firmly in the Romantic era, performing Schumann's Kreisleriana.
