Long Island electric-guitar jock Joe Satriani used to attract kudos for having taught troupers like Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai and Charlie Hunter; in recent years he gained attention in a copyright-infringement suit over Coldplay's "Viva la Vida." Stepping away from hard-rock supergroup Chickenfoot, he plugs his latest solo album, Unstoppable Momentum, with support from Deep Purple axman Steve Morse.
