The music of David "Moose" Adamson is as cockeyed as his stage name, Jookabox, and that moniker speaks to the overbearing quirk factor in Adamson's work. Yet we're impressed by the Indianapolis producer-songsmith's vivid compositions, which conjure visions of Animal Collective dabbling in hip-hop and garagey soul on his latest LP, Ropechain.
