Don't let the mundane name throw you: This brief new-music festival is a presentation of the Incubator Arts Project, which means the sky's the limit when it comes to creative liberties. The series gets off to a strong start with a new composition for extracted piano frame by the prodigiously inventive Paula Matthusen, played by local new-music stalwarts Kathleen Supové and Wil Smith. Sharing the bill is Slybersonic Tromosome, a duo project from Tom Hamilton and Peter Zummo that should live up to its mouthsome moniker.
