Arts for Art, presenters of the annual Vision Festival, stage a two-night fest focusing on the underexamined connection between the jazz avant-garde and the genre's various Latin strains. The Nov 21 program features groups led by, respectively, saxists Roman Filiu and Ivo Perelman, and guitarist Juan Quiñónez. The Nov 22 bill includes pianist Michele Rosewoman's New Yor-Uba Small Ensemble, and two duos: pianist Angelica Sanchez and guitarist Omar Tamez, and cornetist Taylor Ho Bynum and percussionist Abraham Gomez-Delgado.
