Masada String Trio

Violinist Mark Feldman, cellist Erik Freidlander and bassist Greg Cohen offer a rustic, romantic take on John Zorn's durable Masada songbook; warm and genteel on record, the band breathes fire on the bandstand. The trio devotes its early set to Zorn's first book of Masada tunes, the second to its sequel, Book of Angels.
