Maverick Concerts

On Sat 2, the Canadian Brass and Nexus Percussion set off sonic fireworks for Woodstock Beat 2011, the annual benefit for the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild. The spirited young Miró Quartet takes the stage on Sun 3, playing Schubert's Quartettsatz in C minor, Beethoven's String Quartet in B-flat (Op. 130) and Grosse Fuge (Op. 133), and Credo for String Quartet by emerging composer Kevin Puts.
