Michael Powers Frequency + Clarence Spady

Singer-guitarist Michael Powers behaves like he has a Delta hellhound on his trail. We’re not so sure that’s the case, but the gritty soul on his record Prodigal Son befits a cat who apprenticed with James Cotton. In support (and maintaining his Terra Blues presence) is Clarence Spady, who lays down bluesy grooves, exhibited on his most recent release, Just Between Us.
