The Met Museum's hardcore resident ensemble, led by cellist Edward Arron, travels the Silk Road in this concert that takes place in the museum's new galleries for Arabic and Central Asian art. On the program are Richard Strauss's Four Pieces for Piano Quartet, Georgian composer Sulkhan Tsintsadze's Miniatures for String Quartet, Armenian composer Vache Sharafyan Adumbrations of the Peacock for Piano Quartet, Shostakovich's Piano Quintet in G minor and a new piece by Colin Jacobsen, who also plays violin in the ensemble.
