Mumford & Sons + Cadillac Sky + King Charles

Of all the acts to emerge from London's thriving folk scene, Mumford & Sons are a singular treat. The lineup is basic bluegrass, with songs twanged out on banjo, guitar, double bass and so on, but the delivery is all rock & roll and passion, making for a truly sweaty, exhilarating live show. Thoroughly recommended. The young bluegrass band Cadillac Sky found a compelling producer for its album Letters in the Deep: Dan Auerbach, the Black Keys dude. The band gives a taste tonight.
