New York Cabaret Convention 2010: Gala Opening Night with Barbara Carroll, Klea Blackhurst, Andrea Marcovicci, Marilyn Maye and more

The 21st annual cabaret fest kicks off tonight, with a lineup that brings together some of the genre’s most established artists to celebrate the Great American Songbook. Performers of note include the elegantly chic Barbara Carroll, who will perform a special medley of songs by Stephen Sondheim; the divine actor Marian Seldes—not a cabaret performer but a longtime supporter—will receive a special award.
