Conductor laureate Eve Queler revives one of OONY's signature works, a concert version of Wagner's intricate political drama Rienzi. To reach the work's towering summits, OONY has enlisted a trio of big, fresh voices including heldentenor Ian Storey in the title role, soprano Elisabete Matos as Irene and mezzo-soprano Geraldine Chauvet in her U.S. debut as Adriano.
