Richard Sen + Dennis Kane: This Ain't Chicago Release Party

Mixed by London's Richard Sen (otherwise known as Padded Cell), the Strut label's This Ain't Chicago looks back on those heady days of the late ’80s, when the Brits were taking the template of early Chicago house and molding it into a distinctly English sound. It's a great compilation—and pretty damn informative too, if you're not already familiar with the music of Bizarre Inc, Baby Ford, Rio Rhythm Band et al. Sen will be celebrating the release with a night on the Cielo decks; Dennis "Citizen" Kane (from the Disques Sinthomme and Ghost Town labels) joins in.
