If you like your metal harsh, minimal and resolutely unfussy, Serpentine Path is here to make your 2015. The band, which unites all three members of the now-defunct local fixture Unearthly Trance with a guitarist apiece from similarly revered cult faves Ramesses and Winter, gigs here in support of its second LP, Emanations, which hews close to the cold, lumbering doom-meets-death sound established on Serpentine Path's excellent self-titled 2012 debut.
