Silver Apples, a great New York ’60s band that dabbled in strange krautrocky experiments, suffered a major disruption in 1999, when its tour van crashed and bandleader Simeon broke his neck. Simeon has since recovered and revived the act as a solo artist—the arrangements are now a bit simpler to compensate for his handicap. Tonight he stops by Coco 66 for a rare set.
