Exemplary homegrown jazz label Skirl hosts the latest in a series of showcases in Littlefield's cavernous yet cozy back room. Tonight's head-turning lineup includes bands led by Bad Plus drummer Dave King and flutist Leah Paul, the duo of drummer Dan Weiss and pianist Matt Mitchell, and a solo performance by the ever-visceral tenor player Travis Laplante (a member of Little Women).
