Sweetback Sisters + Maybelles

Brooklyn’s Sweetback Sisters promise “girl-on-girl harmony”—which is not as saucy as it sounds, of course, but rather a blend of golden-era country and Giant Sand–style Americana. Still pretty fun, though. In support, Ozark-loving Brooklyn ladies the Maybelles play charmingly cockeyed old-timey music.
