To some, Reid is best known for having turned down Jimmy Page's offer to become Led Zeppelin's frontman. But he's more notable for the erratic but often excellent series of hard-rocking blue-eyed-soul solo albums he released in the late '60s and early '70s. In recent years, the expatriate Englishman has experienced a resurgence as a live performer from his adopted West Coast base; a rare visitor to NYC, he plays tonight at B.B. King's.
