Thomas Adès: Concentric Paths—Movements in Music

White Light Festival. British composer Thomas Adès got a good bit of attention for his sexually explicit opera Powder Her Face (which was staged at BAM in 2013) but his work runs deeper than that. This theatrical retrospective with Adès conducting the Orchestra of St. Luke's includes Life Story and Outlier, two of his key works, performed with dance in the U.S. premiere.
