Jam veterans Widespread Panic have shown the same determined grit of their forefathers, the Allmans. Following lead guitarist Michael Houser’s death a few years back, the band has settled upon the accomplished and talented Jimmy Herring; its messy recent studio albums do nothing to deter a devoted following.
