Xylos + McDonalds + Mansions & Junipers + Flashlights

The members of buzzy Brooklyn band Xylos are buddies with Yeasayer (who produced their debut EP, Bedrooms, in 2008), and Xylos's combination of stripped-down melodies and intricate song structures is just as intriguing. Don't dare miss McDonalds, an enigmatic local band (not associated with the popular chain of hamburger restaurants) whose songs are at once grand and homemade, brooding and funny, arty and catchy.
