Time Out says

Chanukah means different things to different people, but the delicious common denominator is usually crispy potato latkes with apple sauce and/or sour cream. If you're on the lookout for a new recipe or you just want to try the best potato pancakes in town, you can't beat the Latke Festival organized by Great Performances, celebrating its 11th year in 2019.

Hungry visitors to the event will get to the gorgeous front section of the Brooklyn Museum while sampling a huge variety of latkes. Whether you like a traditional latke or you want something a bit wild, you're bound to find one (or five) you love.

Best of all, proceeds from the event benefit local programs that teach young people basic cooking skills and the fundamentals of healthy eating. It's a (very tasty) win/win.
