Time Out says

If we could brunch every day, we would do it in heart beat, and you'd find us at Clinton St. Baking Company. We never tire of the pancakes and breakfast-as-dinner fare, so, naturally, we invited it to hold court at Time Out Market New YorkLearn how our market curation works here, but basically we tasted its food, reviewed the restaurant and, ultimately, recommended Clinton St. Baking Company for a spot at the market. Here’s why:

Name a time when an all-day breakfast spot isn’t absolutely perfect. Early morning hunger pangs? Yes. Late night munchies? For sure. Lazy Sunday hangover remedy? You better believe it. New Yorkers crave a comforting breakfast meal any time of day and Clinton Street Baking Company is probably the ideal spot to satisfy that craving.

This no-fuss cafe gives nostalgic diner vibes with bottomless cups of coffee and all the Sweet-n-Low packets you can stuff in your pockets. While you might be able to sneak in on a weekday without a wait, be prepared for at least an hour during peak weekend brunch times as you join the droves of hungry city-dwellers who’ve lined up on Clinton Street.

Once you’ve settled into your booth, the real question becomes: Should I order sweet or savory? The correct answer is both. If you’re sweet tooth is pulling you towards the realm of the syrup-drenched breakfast, look no further than their stacks of pancakes, especially when topped with a heaping scoop of stewed wild Maine blueberries. On the savory side, a heaping biscuit sandwich is packed with scrambled eggs, melted cheddar and homemade tomato jam alongside the always-welcomed side of hash browns.

Either path you take, do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on the low key superstar of their menu: the sugar-cured bacon. This porky, candy-like side hits all the sweet-salty-savory notes you could ever crave. Just about anything you order here is a true breakfast of champions, whether it’s morning or night.
