Zach Braff’s first play, starring Justin Bartha as a Jersey Shore man bent on suicide, is a compendium of dramaturgical blind alleys and clichés: a weak and callow comedy with stock characters, forced jokes and flat dialogue. Staggering from clunky farce to sub–Judd Apatow dude humor and twee stargazing, the play flails smugly.—David Cote
