It’s amazing what talented pros can do with slight material. This sketch of a musical—a sometimes-clever rethinking of the Adam and Eve story by David Howard, Bret Simmons and Joe DiPietro—is pastiche epitomized. But in the hands of the exceptional ensemble led by a pitch-perfect Jose Llana and wistful belter Krystal Joy Brown (under the expert guidance of director Larry Raben), it’s a lot closer to heaven than hell.—Raven Snook
