Carlo Alban re-creates his 19-year journey from Ecuadorian alien to U.S. citizen in a solo show punctuated with lush renditions of Spanish freedom songs. Alban’s script is wordy and far-reaching, and he sometimes seems to be in a race with his own material, darting breathlessly like the ringmaster of an invisible circus.—Pamela Newton
