Writer-performer Gerard Mannix Flynn explores the sexual abuse of Irish children under church and government care in a semiautobiographical solo piece, directed by Gabriel Byrne. The subject matter is intense and Flynn has affecting moments of simplicity toward the end, but the bulk of the piece is taken up with a tiring profusion of blarneying braggadocio.—Adam Feldman
