Lazarus 1972–2022

For his final work as artistic director of the company that bears his name, the longtime avant-garde creator Ping Chong resurrects (and updates) the very first piece he created on his own, half a century ago: a nonlinear, mostly wordless modern retelling of the Biblical story of Lazarus, originally performed in Meredith Monk's loft. Christopher Caines and Jeannie Hutchins are the performers.
