Lonesome Blues

Akín Babatundé plays blues legend Blind Lemon Jefferson and some of his contemporaries—including Blind Willie Johnson, Lillian Glinn and Lead Belly—in a piece created with Alan Governar, with whom he collaborated on the 2007 Jefferson musical Blind Lemon Blues. Katherine Owens directs, and David Weiss plays guitar.
