The Talking Band applies its experimental imagination to a new piece written and directed by its artistic director, Paul Zimet, and featuring music by Ellen Maddow. Set in a country house in four time periods, the show tells its stories in styles including Chinese ghost story and Sicilian puppet opera (sung by beavers).
