Jews, Christians, Muslims, and people of all faith will gather, united against division, violence and hatred for a peace vigil at UN Public Plaza. Different religious institutions, faith leaders, community organizations and youth groups will learn about each other's faith and cultivate an environment where we practice embracing and loving each other's beliefs.
"In a year that has been filled with so much violence motivated by hate, we invite you to come celebrate love and join us in a collective practice that reclaims this day as one of unity and peace," event organizers said.
The event will include a vigil prayer, art, and performances. It's sponsored by Muslim Community Network, Interfaith Center of New York, Kolot Chayeinu, and African Life Center. Register here to attend.
